ASEAN Policy Conference

 

PRIME is holding preliminary discussions with potential partners and supporters about the possibility of holding an ASEAN Policy Conference in Phnom Penh early next year, in what we hope will develop into an annual event hosted in a different ASEAN country each year. 

 

The tentative timing of the conference is for 12-14 February 2016.

 

The goal for the ASEAN Policy Conference is to bring together leading figures from academia, journalism, politics, business, student groups, and civil society, to talk about policy ideas that can help promote free and prosperous communities throughout South-East Asia. The conference would discuss economic, social, and regional policy, and would focus on finding new ideas for the future instead of just criticising policies from the past.
